Firstly, from the Administrators at Trade U That.com, we would like to thank you for visiting. Welcome! Trade U That.com is your local Online Classified Ad Posting Community where you can Trade, Buy or Sell…Well, Just About Anything!
It is our intents and hopes that you have a fruitful visit either shopping to buy what you need or Selling or possibly trading that which you don't.
The purpose of these few paragraphs below is to briefly familiarize you with the tools available on the site, general procedures for use and also some of the possibilities.
There are three ways in which to search for a desired item:
Firstly, in "Search Items By": you can search items by "Region", "State", "Zip Code", "User and Item". Located at the top of the page, you can search for anything near your location or far away. Should you be aware of another User on the site, you can search their posted items by name.
Secondly, you can search for an item by its general item category. Scroll up and down the left margin, if you can't seem to find the category of choice, drop a line (email) via the "Feedback" link and we'll see about adding it to the list.
Thirdly, if you are in the market to trade what you have for something you need, you can use the "Trade Matrix". The Trade Matrix is a proprietary program that allows you to search items that other Users are willing to trade; call it a wish list of sorts. No scrolling up and down lists and lists of off topic items, clicking each one to see if it fits your desire for a trade deal. Simply input your desired "Item", "Zip Code" or "User" and the trade matrix will call up all matching inputs.
Whichever method you choose: "Search Item By", "Category" or using the "Trade Matrix", you can contact that posting User via our internal messaging system. Oh, and before you start the haggling process with one another over the best mutual deal, don't forget to consult the "Links" (bottom left margin of any page) for some pointers on how to avoid an undesired situation.
Okay, now that you have searched that for which you are looking, it is time to post what it is you have for Trade or Sale.
There are two ways in which you can post your item for trade or sale; as a "Storefront User" or a Basic level User. Either account level, your first step would be to click on the "New Registration" button.
The "Basic" account will allow you to post any item with two pics or none. Should you choose none, you'll have to be as descriptive as possible. Each posting will last for 30 days. You can advertise that posted item in your zip code or another; whichever you feel will help trade or sell the item. Additionally, with this account, you can advertise a: "Garage/Yard Sale", "Seek Job Opportunities", "Comment on Blog", view your "Posted Items" and upgrade to a Storefront account.
The "Storefront" account will allow you to do a good bit more. This account level was designed for the budding and/or seasoned entrepreneur and business owner. Marketing campaigns can be launched locally or nationally. Posted items at this level will last for 45 days. Pics associated with this account will be stored in a "Pic Piggybank" of sorts. When the Storefront User posts an item, a pic shell will be used from the piggybank. A notice will go out to the User prior to the expiration date warning the posting will soon end should they wish to renew the advertised time of the posted item. The User will simply have to push a button and the posted item will renew and they will not have to rewrite the ad of the posted item.
Users of the Storefront level account will be able to post "Job Opportunities", "Coupons" to draw in buyers, post "Garage/Yard Sales", "Comment of the Blog". Currently in the works, we have an Advertising program we are developing. This program will allow the Storefront Users to advertise their Brick and Mortar Company or products for sale.
This link is accessible by all Guests/Users of the site. Here you will find Coupons that are being offered both by the Administrator of Trade U That.com as well as many of its Member Users who post cost saving/discount coupons; nationally or in your specific area.
